Upgrade convenience

The Drop-over is lowered over a pre-installed genset. It is also used as a code compliant upgrade or as a replacement for cement block or other type of housings.

Intended for installation on a concrete slab, this floorless SonoShield enclosure is built with a consolidating angle iron footing to anchor along the inner perimeter.

Unlike the tight fit or reach-in variation of this housing, which is fixed directly to a sub base reservoir or structural floor, the drop-over provides a complete turnkey system.

On existing equipment, replacement vibration attenuators for the genset may be required to assure compliance with local codes. On new installations, pre-planning with SonoShield can help determine the appropriate space allowance and slab dimensions for easy maintenance and inspection.

As with all SonoShield genset housings, the Drop over can meet all required code specifications for attenuation, cabling equipment and interfaces.
